As the weather turns colder, there’s nothing better than a warming bowl of soup, whether its lunch, a starter, or dinner. If you’re getting bored of the typical tomato and basil or minestrone, try some of this tasty seafood soups for inspiration.
Spicy Crab and Cod Soup
To add some real heat to your dinner table, this crab and cod chilli soup is perfect. Pack your soup full of chilli and aromatics such as Thai basil and lemongrass that will create an irresistible aroma. Not every seafood soup has to feature the shellfish within it! Use seafood, such as prawns, as a tasty garnish. This is a great way to elevate a soup starter for a dinner party. You can choose any soup to garnish with seafood such as a creamy mushroom. This will work perfectly with fried prawns and will cut down your cooking time into prep time.
