Curried King Prawn Naanwich Recipe

If you’re looking for something a bit different to enjoy for lunch, forget the sandwich and try this curried king prawn naanwich with curried mayonnaise and crunchy poppadoms! It’s easy to prepare and can help improve your prepping skills!

120g king prawns, cooked
3 inch piece of cucumber, thinly sliced into matchsticks
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 a mango, thinly sliced into matchsticks
1 bag plain poppadoms
1 naan breads
Fresh mint
Fresh coriander
Curried Mayonnaise
130g mayonnaise
30g plain yoghurt
1/2 lime, juiced
3 sprigs coriander
5g garlic puree
5g ginger puree
10g mango chutney
20g mild curry powder


  • For the mayonnaise, mix together the mayonnaise, yoghurt, lime juice, coriander, garlic, ginger, mango chutney, and curry powder. Add white sugar if it’s too sharp for your tastes. Keep refrigerated until ready to assemble
  • Lightly sprinkle the naan breads with water and warm in the oven
  • Once warmed, spread 2 spoons of the mayo, add the cucumber, mango, read onion, prawns, and coriander evenly on the two naan breads.
  • Lightly crush and sprinkle the poppadoms on the naanwich and enjoy!
