Developed by our in house chef, this is a product for the seafood-loving connoisseur. This modern shellfish alternative to the traditional pork black pudding is simple to prepare by frying or grilling. Squid ink replaces the blood used in the traditional black pudding, adding a unique seafood taste and rich colour.
The seafood protein comes from the use of finely chopped squid, which is then mixed with chicken, apple, herbs and spices.
The product will be retailed in two formats a twin (slice) pack and an ‘Ingredient’ pack which contains scallops and a minted pea puree.
Being ultra con-venient to prepare, the uniqueness of this product creates real excitement in the seafood category.
