We freeze our Big & Juicy King Prawns with a naturally low glaze of less than 4% and then seal them in a vacuum pouch to maintain a bright fresh looking product that stays Big & Juicy and tasting great. With no additives and no heavy glazing we've got nothing to hide, in fact we are so proud of our Prawns we've even put windows in both sides of the pack to show them off!
Convenient to defrost with no mess or fuss and being packed thin and flat in our pouch they can be defrosted overnight in the refrigerator or quickly underwarm water with very little excess water due to the low glaze level.
Our Big & Juicy King Prawns are high in omega-3 and a natural source of essential vitamins and minerals, including Selenium. These help maintain a healthy metabolism, an effective immune system and are good for the brain. King Prawns are virtual fat free so are a perfect ingredient for a well-balanced diet.
