Autumn 2011 News

North Norfolk Food and Drink

We have just had great fun participating in the festival that sets out to highlight the best of Norfolk’s food and drink producers that was held at the stunning Holkham Hall in the glorious North Norfolk countryside.

This is the first time that we have exhibited at the festival and we were so pleased with the response and feedback we received that we’ll definitely do it again next year in addition we are planning to participate in other selected food events throughout the year.

standAs a bit of fun for the children, we held a ‘guess the number of my friends’ competition where they were asked to estimate the number of prawn sweets in a glass bowl.

kelseyWe are pleased to announce that the lucky winner is Kelsey, aged 11, from Sheringham, Norfolk, who guessed 768 which was only three away from lobsterthe correct total of 771 and she has chosen to visit BeWILDerwood with her friends.

Big Prawn at the North Pole

I am sure that a lot of you
have seen the amazing TV documentary of “Harry’s Artic Heroes” tracing the journey of four severely injured Afghan veterans attempting an unsupported 190-trek to the North Pole.

All of us at BPC had a special interest in the program, being a founding sponsor for the successful, record-breaking, Walking With The Wounded expedition.

We would like to congratulate the entire team but especially those members with disabilities who achieved this monumental task. Fantastic!

Feeling At Home

To start our new marketing initiative we have co-produced an informative advertorial which will appear in the ‘At Home with Marco Pierre White’ magazine which is published on the 29th September and available at supermarkets and WH Smiths. We would like to welcome any readers of the magazine to our web newsletter and hope that you take the chance to enter our autumn competition.

European Seafood Show 2011

If you saw our spring newsletter you will know that we were exhibiting at the European Seafood Expedition in Brussels in May. The show was a great success for us and we met many of our existing, new and potential customers. This year we had a new location in hall 7 and a brand new stand which proved to be an ideal venue to hold our meetings and was in fact so successful, that we have already booked our stand for next year.
